We&#39;re back and bigger than ever! <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TeamLiquid?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@TeamLiquid<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/astralisgg?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@astralisgg<\/a> will join us at <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/IEM?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#IEM<\/a> Beijing-Haidian on November 9-10 as we bring the full ESL experience to China for the fist time.<\/p>\n<p>? <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/yoQqfiCxgb\">https:\/\/t.co\/yoQqfiCxgb<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/rQH6VY3Yhd\">pic.twitter.com\/rQH6VY3Yhd<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Intel\u00aeExtremeMasters (@IEM) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/IEM\/status\/1164477390170591233?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 22, 2019<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/div>\n<p>Three of the remaining spots are reserved for invitees, with the last three going to the respective winners of the GG.Bet Beijing Invitational, Chinese qualifiers and Asian qualifiers.<\/p>\n<p>While the lineup is nowhere near finalized, the 2019 event looks to be much more stacked compared to last year&#8217;s IEM Shanghai, where the only top-10 team in the field (NRG) won the title and $125,000 in prize money.<\/p>\n<p>ESL also announced the format of the tournament, which will feature a group stage (November 7-8) and playoffs (November 9-10).<\/p>\n<p>The group stage will split the eight teams into two double-elimination GSL groups based on their ESL <a href=\"\/counter-strike\/\" title=\"CS:GO esports betting\">CS:GO esports<\/a> world rankings. All matches will be played in best-of-three series (Bo3).<\/p>\n<p>The top two teams from each group will then advance into the playoffs, where a single-elimination bracket will be used for all fixtures.
