The Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) World Championship Swiss-Stage will kick off on Tuesday, September 10. Below you will find our Rocket League betting previews and best bets for Team Vitality vs Team Secret, Gen.G vs PWR, FURIA vs OG, Team BDS vs Oxygen Esports, and Spacestation Gaming vs Karmine Corp.

Time Team 1 (Odds) Team 2 (Odds) Total Maps (O/U 3.5)
2pm CDT Team Vitality (-400) Team Secret (+275) Over -227.27 | Under +162

Both Team Vitality and Team Secret fell to Gen.G in back-to-back matches at the Esports World Cup; however, Vitality was knocked out in the playoffs and Secret didn’t make it out of the group stage. With Vitality attempting to defend their RLCS World Championship crown, expect this to be a statement game early on in the event.

Gen.G will clash with PWR in the opening round of the Swiss Stage, and they will be confident in winning this clash as they have only dropped one map (3-0 & 3-1) across the two meetings with PWR this season. It is hard to see PWR taking a map off Gen.G, and a 3-0 win looks like a great value play.

4pm CDT FURIA (-357.14) OG (+250) Over -227.27 | Under +162

Following top eight finishes at the RLCS Major 1, RLCS Major 2 and the Esports World Cup, FURIA comes into the World Championship with solid form and is expected to make the playoffs in Fort Worth. OG has only won two matches in S-Tier competition this season; therefore, FURIA is the superior team, and they will be winning this clash comfortably.

Team BDS enters the RLCS World Championship as the outright favourite with esports betting sites following their win at the Esports World Cup. BDS will open their campaign against Oxygen Esports, a team they have defeated in their last six meetings. It is expected that BDS will extend their winning streak over Oxygen in this opening round fixture.

Karmine Corp will compete in their first S-Tier event since finishing in third-fourth place at RLCS Major 1 in March, while Spacestation Gaming will be seeking to improve on their fifth-eighth-place finishes at RLCS Major 2 and the Esports World Cup. BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2024 kicks off on Wednesday, August 21, with the opening set of fixtures for the single-elimination bracket. Here, you can find our top Counter-Strike betting picks for FaZe Clan vs Rare Atom, HEROIC vs OG, and Ninjas in Pyjamas vs AMKAL ESPORTS, with esports odds courtesy of top bookmakers in United States.

FAZE CLAN vs RARE ATOM CS2 BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

Best Odds: FaZe -2000 at BetOnline | RA +819 at BetOnline
When: August 21, 2024 | 15:30 CEST
Watch Live: Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/BLASTPremier)

After a disappointing fifth-sixth finish at Intel Extreme Masters Cologne 2024, FaZe Clan now have a great chance to win their first significant Counter-Strike esports tournament since IEM Chengdu 2024. According to the CS2 betting odds, they are outright favourites to place in the top two at BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2024.

FaZe’s journey begins with a clash against China’s No.3 team, Rare Atom, who recently booked a spot at IEM Rio 2024 through regional qualifiers and placed top four at XSE Pro League Season 2. Yet despite Rare Atom’s recent success, they are still one of the weaker sides attending BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2024.

FaZe should feel slightly fatigued, as they have had quite a packed schedule this month, and it is unlikely they will have put much preparation into this series. Still, Finn “karrigan” Andersen and co. are 6-2 as betting favourites since the start of the month and should not struggle against the world’s No.81-ranked team.

HEROIC vs OG CS2 BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

Best Odds: Heroic -384.62 at BetOnline | OG +276 at BetOnline
When: August 21, 2024 | 18:00 CEST
Watch Live: Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/BLASTPremier)

HEROIC and OG are still without a tournament title this year, yet there is a significant difference in the tiers of competitions they have attended over the last seven months. While HEROIC have played in eight consecutive S-Tier events leading into BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2024, OG competed at the top level just twice this year — most recently at the CCT Season 1 Global Finals in May.

OG have recently found some traction, winning five consecutive series at Intel Extreme Masters Rio 2024: European Open Qualifier #1, yet those came against K27, ENJOY, ARCRED, PARIVISION, and B8, and not one of those displays was very convincing. HEROIC are 4-6 from their last 10 outings, albeit against much more formidable opponents.

HEROIC are rightly priced as favourites, yet they have been dropping series against weaker sides, so there is a world where OG catch them sleeping. An upset seems unlikely; however, at -131.58 with top Counter-Strike betting sites, OG are a solid pick to take a map.

NINJAS IN PYJAMAS vs AMKAL ESPORTS CS2 BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

When: August 21, 2024 | 20:30 CEST
Watch Live: Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/BLASTPremier)

AMKAL ESPORTS enter BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2024 with only four active players, having recently parted ways with Daniil “Sdaim” Tupov. This is not an optimal situation, but they might have found a replacement in Emil “nota” Moskvitin, who played for the Russian squad in their most recent series against Young Ninjas.

Ninjas in Pyjamas have a stable roster but no notable results to show for it. They are 3-2 from their last five series, which includes a questionable overtime win against FAVBET Team and a 7-13 loss against LEON Esports.

On paper, Ninjas in Pyjamas are the far superior team. Still, their results over the last few weeks inspire little confidence, making AMKAL ESPORTS an inviting outsider pick to at least leave a dent in NiP’s armour.

Complexity Gaming are priced as heavy underdogs for this match, which isn’t surprising considering they’re only third-best Rocket League team from North America. However, they might be a bit underrated.

Even though Complexity haven’t found much success in the regional league, this is a group of very experienced players with a solid synergy. As Europe’s third seed, Vitality deserve a bit more respect since they hail from a more challenging region, but they’ve not shown much more than Complexity Gaming this season.

Vitality have a higher ceiling, and they’ve won seven of their last eight series. But the quality gap between the two sides isn’t nearly as large as the offered Rocket League esports betting odds suggest. Trust Complexity Gaming to keep it close.

Rule One are considered one of the weakest teams attending Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) 2024 Major 1. Still, it’s easy to forget how good this core (ex-Team Falcons) was in previous seasons. Hisham “Nwpo” Alqadi is still an excellent player, and while Khalid “oKhaliD” Qasim and Ahmad “Ahmad” Abdullah might not be viewed as top-tier, they can carry their weight.

Gentle Mates Alpine are getting a lot of respect as Europe’s no.4 squad, but they’ve not beaten any notable teams over the last month. During RLCS 2024 Major 1: EU Open Qualifier 1, Gentle Mates looked great, but they’ve since cooled down, so we should take their early-season success with a grain of salt.

The current offer seems to be based a lot on the perceived strength of the team based on the region they’re from. But believing that Europe’s no.4 seed is much stronger than MENA’s no.2 team is too optimistic.

Team Falcons signed Saleh Abdullah “Rw9” Bakhashwin and Yazid Abdullah “Kiileerrz” Bakhashwin from Rule One at the end of 2023, forming the most dominant MENA Rocket League team. Team Falcons have won all three RLCS 2024 Major 1 MENA Open Qualifiers and cruised their way to the Saudi eLeagues 2024 Major 1 Final title last week, proving they’re more than ready to do some damage in Denmark.

OG have not been as early as successful this season, but this is an extremely experienced roster with players who all won at least one big LAN event title. Form-wise, OG aren’t in a good spot, but this could be one of the teams that will do much better on LAN.

Team Falcons are very talented and not an easy opponent. But we’re putting more weight on the LAN experience, which makes OG a very attractive choice.

FURIA Esports have been dominating the South American Rocket League esports scene. Despite their slip-up in the first RLCS 2024 Major 1: SAM Open Qualifier, FURIA hold an absurd 41-2 record since October 2023. From the start of the RLCS 2024 season, FURIA Esports are 23-2.

Beating on regional opponents doesn’t guarantee that FURIA Esports will do well on the international stage. But they’re in excellent form and have enough talent to do some damage in Denmark.

Luminosity Gaming, on the other side, haven’t looked great recently. They’re 12-6 since the start of RLCS 2024 Major 1: NA Open Qualifier 2, and their recent results are even more worrying, with three wins against The Muffin Men, M80, and Boulevard and three losses against Dignitas, OG, and Omelette from their last six.

A team’s online form doesn’t always indicate their chances to do well on LAN. But in this match, it’s tough to find a good reason to fade FURIA Esports.

ESB’s free Counter-Strike 2 betting predictions for Thursday, March 7, focus on three BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2024 series. Here are our selections for Team Liquid vs SAW, Complexity vs OG, and Monte vs Imperial Esports.

Team Liquid enter BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2024 fresh off a disappointing run at the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 American RMR, where they crashed out in seventh place and missed their chance to qualify for the upcoming Major.

On the other side, SAW finished the European RMR in sixth-eighth place with wins against Ninjas in Pyjamas, ENTERPRISE, and Fnatic, so they will be travelling to Copenhagen. Even though SAW didn’t have to play any great teams last month, they have performed well to go 8-3 since the start of February.

Counter-Strike betting sites have priced Team Liquid as favourites for this series, and even though Liquid have a higher ceiling, they are in bad form. This looks closer to a 50-50 match, so at the offered Counter-Strike betting odds, SAW is a much better pick.

Complexity secured their ticket for PGL Copenhagen Major 2024 on Monday when they defeated Team Liquid in the final round of the American RMR. Before that, they suffered early exits from BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2024 and Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2024, so Complexity still have a lot to prove.

OG have not been competitive for a while now, and the recent departure of coach Casper “ruggah” Due to Astralis won’t help. OG have not won a tournament since BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2022, and they enter the Spring Showdown with just one win from their last six series.

OG are not only in bad form, but they also don’t have the talent to compete at the highest level. Complexity aren’t perfect either, as they rely too much on Jonathan “EliGE” Jablonowski to do all the heavy lifting. Still, they’re in a much better spot than OG and should come away with a comfortable win.

Over the last two weeks, Monte have lost Viktor “sdy” Orudzhev and Alexander “br0” Bro without confirming full-time replacements. Jack “Gizmy” von Spreckelsen could step in for the team again this week, and while there are other solid options at their disposal, losing sdy and br0 will be noticeable.

Imperial Esports are not expected to make it far at BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2024, although their recent form is solid. The Brazilian side won Ace South American Masters Spring 2024 at the start of February and last weekend added a gold medal from the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 American RMR.

Imperial’s recent success is largely thanks to Henrique “HEN1” Teles. The 28-year-old averaged a 1.62 performance rating at the American RMR; however, his teammates Kaiky “noway” Santos (1.47) and Jo?o “felps” Vasconcellos (1.45) weren’t too far behind.

Monte were very competitive in the second half of 2023, but after seeing them lose two key players, it’s tough to feel optimistic about their chances to do well at BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2024.

After suffering their first defeats of the PGL Major Copenhagen Europe RMR B tournament on day two, Apeks, Team Vitality, and Team Spirit have all bounced back on day three to record their third win.

Each of the three organisations earned qualification for the first Counter-Strike 2 Major with their final win of the RMR, while OG, Monte and Preasy were all eliminated from Major contention.

Apeks showcased their veteran experience and tenacity in a thrilling battle against ECSTATIC, ultimately securing their ticket to the PGL Major in Copenhagen.

Despite a strong performance from ECSTATIC, particularly in the initial stages of the match, Apeks managed to edge out victories on both their map pick and the deciding map, clinching the series 2-1 (10-13, 13-11, 13-11).

Led by players like Jason “salazar” Salazar and Tobias “kraghen” Kragh Jensen, Apeks demonstrated composure and clutch ability, especially in crucial moments where they managed to close out tight rounds and secure essential frags.

Despite ECSTATIC’s best efforts, Apeks’ experience and strategic prowess ultimately proved to be the deciding factors in the series.

With one more opportunity to qualify for the Major, ECSTATIC will need to regroup, maintain mental fortitude, and give it their all in the final decider match against Guild Eagles.

Meanwhile, Vitality asserted their dominance with a commanding 2-0 (13-6, 13-4) victory over ENCE, securing their spot at the Major.

Led by Dan “apEX” Madesclaire, Vitality displayed confidence and precision throughout the series, capitalizing on strategic decisions and individual performances to secure decisive wins on both Vertigo and Nuke.

Reflecting on their journey to qualify, apEX acknowledged the pressure and significance of earning a spot at such a prestigious event.

With Vitality’s victory, they aim to defend their title as Major champions, showcasing their determination and skill in the face of tough competition.

Lastly, Spirit showcased resilience and determination in their journey to qualify for the Major, overcoming challenges and hardships along the way.

Despite initial struggles, Spirit rallied together, demonstrating their strength as a team and securing a 2-0 (13-8, 13-11) victory over Heroic.

Due to Preasy being eliminated from the European RMR, Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen will miss his first Counter-Strike Major of his career and the first CS2 Major in his home country, Denmark.

Dupreeh holds individual records in both Major appearances and Major wins, with the Dane competing in all 18 Counter-Strike Majors and winning five of them.

Thursday’s RMR matches

  • Heroic (-256.41) vs GamerLegion (+195) @ 4pm EET
  • ECSTATIC (-120.48) vs Guild Eagles (-104.17) @ 7pm EET

Natus Vincere secured a spot in the Group C final at the BLAST Premier Spring Groups after a hard-fought three-map series win against G2 Esports (16-12, 10-13, 13-9).

Their decision to pick Overpass paid off, with Valeriy “?b1t?” Vakhovskiy shining in an overtime victory.

However, G2 weren’t going to roll over, and they went on to take their map pick, Inferno, to send the series to Anubis.

Despite a close first and second map, NAVI dominated on Anubis, winning 13-9.

In another Group C matchup, Ninjas in Pyjamas faced Complexity, aiming for redemption after a tough start.

NiP, with a strong CT side performance from Kristian ‘k0nfig’ Wienecke and Patrick ‘es3tag’ Hansen, secured a 13-9 victory on the first map.

They continued their dominance on Ancient, winning 13-5, setting up a rematch with G2 in the consolidation final.

Astralis impressed by defeating Team Vitality 2-1 (13-10, 6-13, 13-4) in the Group A upper final.

Vitality, the world’s best Counter-Strike, team struggled on Mirage before finding form on Vertigo, where they won in dominant fashion.

However, Martin “?stavn?” Lund’s strong performance on Overpass and crucial clutches by Victor “?Staehr?” Staehr contributed to Astralis’ dominant victory on the decisive map.

The loss ended Vitality’s nine-match and 12-map win streaks.

Falcons rebounded from a day one defeat against Astralis, dominating OG on Ancient (13-2) and securing the series victory on Vertigo (13-11).

The strong CT effort on Ancient, led by lvaro “?SunPayus?” Garca, boosted Falcons’ confidence.

The win sets up a consolidation final against Astralis, offering a chance for Emil “?Magisk?” Reif and Danny “?zonic?” S?rensen to face their former teammates.

Both Group B and D action will kick off on Wednesday, with FaZe Clan clashing with GamerLegion in the opening series of the day.

G2 Esports kicked off their BLAST Premier Spring Groups campaign with a decisive 2-0 victory over Ninjas in Pyjamas, securing wins on Vertigo (13-7) and Anubis (13-2).

Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov, the fourth-best Counter-Strike player of 2023 showcased exceptional form with a 1.88 rating.

However, NiP’s lackluster performance, aside from flashes of brilliance from Fredrik “REZ” Sterner, made it an easier contest for G2.

G2 advances to the upper final against Natus Vincere, while Ninjas in Pyjamas faces a lower final battle to stay alive in the tournament.

In the Vertigo match, NiP initially led 3-0 on the T side, but G2 took control with six consecutive rounds.

Despite NiP’s efforts, G2 secured a 7-5 halftime lead.

G2 dominated the second half, particularly with m0NESY’s outstanding plays, closing the map 13-7.

The Anubis map was completely one-sided, with G2 overpowering NiP.

NiP struggled on their T side, facing challenges from deep flanks by Rasmus “HooXi” Nielsen.

G2 secured a convincing 13-2 victory, sealing the series 2-0.

Natus Vincere also started strong, defeating Complexity 2-0 (16-14 on Overpass, 13-8 on Anubis).

Despite Complexity’s initial 5-0 lead on Overpass, Natus Vincere mounted a comeback, forcing the match to overtime and ultimately winning 16-14.

Natus Vincere faces G2 in the upper bracket, while Complexity aims to avoid elimination against Ninjas in Pyjamas.

Vitality continued their dominating form, dismantling OG 2-0 (Mirage 13-0, Inferno 13-7).

Vitality has now won nine consecutive series and twelve maps, carrying the momentum from their success in 2023 into the new season.

Mirage saw Vitality secure a swift 13-0 lead on the CT side, showcasing a dominant performance.

Inferno continued the trend, with Vitality maintaining control and closing out the series 2-0.

Astralis showcased their prowess, defeating Falcons 2-0 (13-8 on Vertigo, 13-3 on Ancient).

The new Falcons line-up, featuring three former ENCE members, struggled against Astralis’ masterful T side on Vertigo.

Astralis dominated the series, with Nicolai “device” Reedtz and the riflers leading the charge.

Astralis faces Vitality in the upper bracket final, while Falcons look to bounce back against OG to avoid early elimination.

G2 Esports has officially confirmed the return of Nemanja “?nexa?” Isakovi? to their Counter-Strike roster, marking the departure of Justin “?jks?” Savage.

This move aligns with earlier reports by HLTV, putting an end to the speculation surrounding G2’s roster changes.

Nexa, a seasoned player at 26, is no stranger to the G2 organization, having previously served as the in-game leader (IGL) for the team in 2021.

Despite not securing major trophies during his initial tenure, G2 remained a formidable force, securing second-place finishes at IEM Cologne 2021 and the PGL Major Stockholm, and reaching the No. 2 spot in the global rankings.

Having played alongside Nemanja “?huNter-?” Kova? and Nikola “?NiKo?” Kova? during his first stint at G2, nexa brings familiarity to the current line up.

However, the lack of tangible success eventually led to changes, and nexa moved to OG in 2022, with Aleksi “?Aleksib?” Virolainen taking over as G2’s IGL.

Unfortunately, nexa’s time at OG did not yield significant achievements, with the team achieving modest success at LAN events.

Despite briefly reaching the No. 8 spot in the world rankings, OG slid out of the top 30 in 2023.

The return of nexa to G2 comes as a replacement for jks, who is stepping down from the active roster.

While speculation abounded that nexa might reassume the role of IGL, he has clarified that, for now, he will focus on his primary role as a rifler.

This move follows NiKo’s decision to stay with G2, turning down an offer from Falcons.

G2’s CS2 division has undergone recent turbulence with roster uncertainties, but the organization is experiencing its most successful year in Counter-Strike esports.

With victories at the BLAST Premier World Final in December 2022, IEM Katowice in February, and IEM Cologne in August, G2 has solidified its presence as a top-tier team.

Nexa’s return to G2 brings anticipation for the upcoming BLAST Premier World Final scheduled between December 13 and 17, where the team will aim to continue its success.

While the exact debut date for nexa in this new stint remains unclear, fans can expect an experienced and familiar presence to bolster G2’s competitive edge.

Tundra Esports, the reigning champions of the Dota 2 The International, have announced the addition of Topias “Topson” Taavitsainen, a two-time TI winner, to their line up for The International 2022 (TI12).

This significant change in their roster comes shortly after Martin “Saksa” Sazdov revealed he would be taking a break from competitive gaming due to undisclosed health issues.

In response to this change, Tundra Esports is restructuring its team for the upcoming season to accommodate Topson, whom they believe will bolster their pursuit of another championship title.

Topson will take on the midlane role, while Leon “Nine” Kirilin transitions to a position four role.

This shift is a notable adjustment compared to previous seasons when Wu “Sneyking” Jingjun switched to position five to make room for Saksa in the soft support role.

Rumors of Topson joining Tundra had been circulating since August, especially when it seemed likely that Old G, Topson’s previous team, might disband.

Topson confirmed that he would not participate in the The International 12 qualifiers.

Nine had been seen playing position four heroes and rotating frequently in games, fuelling speculation about Saksa’s break and Topson’s potential involvement with Tundra, a team he had briefly stood in for at BetBoom Universe Episode One in February, albeit with a different line up.

This marks Topson’s return to The International after stepping away from OG’s main roster in November 2021 to prioritize family obligations.

He made a comeback by playing for T1 during the Southeast Asian qualifiers and the last chance qualifier for TI11 last season.

The revamped Tundra lineup, featuring Topson, will make its debut at DreamLeague Season 21 on September 18th.

This event will serve as their preparation before heading to Seattle to focus on TI12, which begins on October 12th.
