The post Team Falcons claim ESL One Birmingham title appeared first on Esport Bet.
]]>Despite playing four games in the bracket stage compared to BetBooms one, the Falcons dominated with a clean 3C0 sweep.
Coach Kurtis “Aui_2000” Ling attributed the victory to widespread underperformance among their opponents.
The Falcons, a newcomer to the Dota 2 scene, made a resounding entrance last November by signing experienced players alongside 19-year-old prodigy Stanislav Malr1ne Potorak.
With their victory, they sent a clear message: they are a force to be reckoned with.
Congratulations to our #ESLOne Birmingham Champions, @FalconsEsport!

Aui_2000 admitted to facing challenges in maintaining a stable mentality during games, especially in dealing with taunts, trash talk, and losses.
Despite these obstacles, the team performed well when it mattered most.
Aui_2000 also emphasized their super easy integration into the new organization, thanks to past relationships.
Game two showcased the Falcons’ scalability as they turned the tables on BetBoom’s early lead with strategic drafting and teamwork.
Utilizing Sven’s brutal damage, they gained a significant advantage in fights and secured their second win decisively.
Despite BetBoom’s underperformance, Aui_2000 acknowledged Falcons strengths and their thorough preparation for various scenarios.
This victory marked their third event win of the year, solidifying their position as a top contender in the Dota 2 scene.
The atmosphere in Birmingham was electric, with fans witnessing some of the best Dota 2 action in years.
Falcons’ dominance was evident throughout the series, with BetBoom unable to find their stride.
Despite some adjustments, BetBoom couldn’t match the skill and coordination of the Falcons.
Falcons showcased their depth and versatility, with players like Sneyking shining on the new roster.
The team’s cohesive gameplay and strategic draft choices overwhelmed their opponents, leaving little chance for a BetBoom comeback.
As ESL One returned to Birmingham after five years, the event lived up to expectations, setting the stage for more exciting Dota 2 and esports events in the future.

]]>The post CDEC Gaming vs Royal Never Give Up tips – ESL One Birmingham 2020 appeared first on Esport Bet.
]]>CDEC Gaming and Royal Never Give Up will duke it out for a spot in the upper bracket finals and a guaranteed US $8,000 windfall when they meet this week in the ESL One Birmingham 2020 playoffs.
CDEC failed to impress through the early months of 2020. They finished eighth at the ESL One Los Angeles 2020 China Closed Qualifier, second in China Dota2 Development League Season 2 and third at the CDA League Season 1: Qualifier.
In April, CDEC picked up the pace and saw more success at the DPL-CDA Professional League Season 1 – Qualifier and Promotion series, although they faced only weaker Dota2 esports teams in those events. In May, CDEC finished seventh-eighth at OGA Dota PIT 2020 Online: China, ninth-16th at the ESL One Birmingham 2020 – Online: China Open Qualifier, first at the ESL One Birmingham 2020 – Online: China Qualifier, and sixth at DPL-CDA Professional League Season 1.
Despite their subpar performances at most of their top-tier events, Guo “Xm” Hongcheng and co. showed remarkable quality at the China Dota2 Professional League Season 2. There, they picked up big wins against ViCi Gaming (2-1), Invictus Gaming (2-1) and EHOME (2-1) en route to third place in the group stage. CDEC couldn’t back it up in the playoffs, however, losing to PSG.LGD in a reverse sweep and then bowing out with a 0-2 loss to Team Aster in the lower bracket.
CDEC have been plagued with inconsistency, but the same can be said for Royal Never Give Up. Over the last week, RNG defeated Longinus, Aster and ViCi but lost to PSG.LGD twice and went down to Invictus in the China Dota2 Pro League Season 2 semi-finals. In the week prior, RNG lost to CDEC and Aster but defeated Sparking Arrow Gaming and Keen Gaming.
Throughout the ESL One Birmingham group stage, Royal Never Give Up defeated Longinus (2-0) and Aster (2-0) but narrowly lost to PSG.LGD (1-2), while CDEC defeated EHOME (2-1), Invictus Gaming (2-0) and Sparking Arrow Gaming (2-0).
These teams last met on Monday, May 18, when CDEC Gaming came away with a 2-1 win. Although Xm and his men lost one map, they outshone Royal Never Give Up and ended the series with an aggregate 91-48 kill score and a combined gold lead of more than 12.4k.
Since both sides have put up plenty of iffy displays in recent weeks, this match seems like it can go both ways. While RNG have looked the better team of late, they may struggle against a CDEC outfit who have won at least one map against them in their last two meetings.
We expect another close series between these two, so we would steer clear of the outright winner and handicap bets. The map line, however, becomes very appealing.

]]>The post Geek Fam vs Team Adroit betting tips – ESL One Birmingham 2020 appeared first on Esport Bet.
]]>The opening round of the ESL One Birmingham 2020 Southeast Asia playoffs will see Geek Fam lock horns with Team Adroit in a rematch of their meeting in the group stage last Sunday.
Having won that clash 2-0, Geek Fam will enter this match with high confidence. Although Adroit looked to be in a better spot for a short period of time on the first map, the final scores show the real picture. Geek Fam won the opening game with a 44-22 kill differential and 18.6k net worth advantage, to which they added 31-11 kill and 15.5k gold leads on the second map.
Besides their dominant win over Adroit, Geek Fam also took down the struggling TNC Predator (2-0) and Reality Rift (2-0) in the group stage. It wasn’t all roses, however, as they lost to BOOM Esports (1-2) and Fnatic (0-2) to take a 3-2 record into the playoffs.
Geek Fam entered ESL One Birmingham straight after winning Cyber.bet Cup: Spring Series – SEA, where they secured a perfect 6-0 record and lost only one map out of 14 played. While a remarkable achievement on paper, Carlo “KuKu” Palad and co. did not face any notable opponents besides Cignal Ultra, who were the only team to force GF into a three-map series.
SEE ALSO: HOW TO BET ON DOTA2 ESPORTS ONLINE
Team Adroit were very disappointing towards the end of the group stage at ESL One Birmingham. They started the tournament with wins over Fnatic (2-1), TNC (2-0) and Reality Rift (2-0), but Marvin “Boombacs” Rushton and co. fell flat against Geek Fam (0-2) and BOOM Esports (1-2) on the final two days. Their recent two results fail to inspire much confidence, but we don’t find it fair to criticise Adroit on two results alone.
Although this team has the tendency to occasionally drop the ball (which is somewhat justifiable in online fixtures), Adroit have shown before they are not a bad team. That is especially the case against Geek Fam, who they have already defeated three times this year.
Furthermore, Adroit defeated Fnatic a week ago and stole a map off the SEA titans in BTS Pro Series: Southeast Asia a month ago, so it’s fair to say Boombacs and his team can be potent if given a chance.
Geek Fam enter this match as massive favourites on the back of their win in this matchup a few days ago. That overrates them a bit, and it’s hard to understand how are Team Adroit priced as high as +162 to win.
While Geek Fam stomped Adroit on Sunday, we must also consider that these teams have met five times since the start of the year. Three of those contests ended in favour of Adroit, who hold a 8-6 aggregate map score against GF in 2020.
Because Adroit have lost some of the momentum they had at the start of the tournament, it’s hard to back them in outright. But online fixtures are often unpredictable and Adroit match up nicely with Geek Fam, so we are confident the Filipinos can win at least one map and force the series to three.

]]>The post PSG.LGD vs Team Aster betting tips | ESL One Birmingham 2020 appeared first on Esport Bet.
]]>ESL One Birmingham 2020 – Online: China will kick off this Tuesday when PSG.LGD and Team Aster clash in the opening fixture of Group A.
PSG.LGD are one of the hottest teams in the Dota2 esports scene, winning nine of their last 10 fixtures and losing only three matches since the start of the month. The only two teams that have caused PSG.LGD any issues of late are Royal Never Give Up, who defeated Xu “fy” Linsen and co. at DPL-CDA Professional League Season 1; and ViCi Gaming, who handed PSG.LGD two defeats at OGA Dota PIT 2020 Online: China.
PSG.LGD’s most recent match was played on Saturday, when they defeated CDEC Gaming (2-1) at the DPL-CDA Professional League Season 1 to secure second place. This was their sixth podium finish of the year, adding to a third-fourth place finish at the ESL One Los Angeles 2020 China Open Qualifier, victories at WeSave! Charity Play – China and China Dota2 Professional League Season 1, third place at CDA League Season 1 and second at OGA Dota PIT 2020 Online: China.
PDG.LGD’s most recent roster change came in March, when they benched Li “ASD” Zhiwen after signing Ren “eLeVeN” Yangwei on loan from EHOME. To make room for the newest arrival, the team also moved Yang “Chalice” Shenyi from the third position to the carry role.
Team Aster will enter ESL One Birmingham with a fairly decent record behind them. While they can’t quite match PSG.LGD’s 90% win rate from their last 10 fixtures, Pan “Fade” Yi and co. have picked up a couple of impressive wins since the start of May, namely against ViCi Gaming (2-1) in the DPL-CDA Professional League and Invictus Gaming (2-0) at OGA Dota PIT 2020 Online: China.
Aster’s overall performances in top-tier tournaments have been rock solid. They came within one win of reaching the China Dota2 Professional League Season 1 playoffs in March, made it to the second round of the OGA Dota PIT 2020 Online: China playoffs at the start of May, and finished one game outside the top four at CDA Pro League Season 1.
Team Aster have not made a single change to their matchday personnel since February, when former LGD tactician Yao “QQQ” Yi replaced Tong “Mikasa” Junjie as head coach.
These teams have faced each other four times since the start of April for two wins apiece. All four fixtures ended with three maps played, which suggests Aster, while not nearly as established as PSG.LGD, are more than capable of carrying their weight against the Chinese juggernauts.
The main reason why Aster match up with PSG.LGD so well is QQQ. He spent 2.5 years at the helm of LGD, so it’s safe to say that he knows everything there is to know about how they operate.
Despite that strategic advantage, it’s still difficult to side with Fade and co. against the stacked PSG.LGD roster. The safest bet we can take here is over 2.5 maps, as Aster rarely lose in clean sweeps.

]]>The post Forward Gaming downs Complexity Gaming to make ESL One Birmingham 2019 appeared first on Esport Bet.
]]>Two weeks ago Complexity stole their slot at the MDL Disneyland Paris Major after beating Forward Gaming in a 2-1 thriller, but this time the tables were turned as Forward Gaming finally took down Complexity and advanced into ESL One Birmingham 2019.
The match-up was certainly the most intense final among those played in the North America, SouthEast Asia, Europe and CIS and China Region qualifiers.
Complexity Gaming started the final with a one-point advantage because they didn’t lose a single game in their previous tournament.
In contrast to that form, Forward Gaming climbed their way back to the finals after losing to TEAM TEAM.
SEE ALSO: LATEST ESPORTS BETTING TIPS
Forward Gaming started off the series with classic combo picks, Magnus and Phantom Assassin. Without any doubt, these duo picks are insane in the current meta, especially when Phantom Assassin is buffed with Magnus Empower.
Complexity Gaming called GG in game one after they realised Phantom Assassin was unstoppable.
Complexity banned Magnus early in game two and every single game thereafter. However, Forward Gaming still dominated game two with Obsidian Destroyer and Nyx Assassin.
Limmp, the position two player from Complexity, was being harassed heavily and zoned out from the lane by Obsidian Destroyer in the laning phase. He only had net worth of 13700, while Obsidian Destroyer accumulated net worth of 32200 when Complexity surrendered. CCnC, the mid-laner and the user of Obsidian Destroyer in that game, was the chief architect of that win.

In game three, Forward Gaming picked Obsidian Destroyer too early and Complexity drafted Pugna to counter him.
Although Obsidian Destroyer was still able to farm in the game, he was not able to deal much damage to enemies thanks to Pugnas nether ward.
Meracle, the carry player from Complexity Gaming, was the highlight of game three. His Morphing killed 13 heroes, 72 per cent of the team’s entire number.
The series was levelled at 2-2 and Forward Gaming refrained from picking Obsidian Destroyer again in the first four choices, but selected him last in game five so Complexity Gaming could not pick Pugna to counter him.
Complexity understood that they had to control Obsidian Destroyer, so they put a lot of effort into killing him and allowed Troll Warlock, the carry hero from Forward Gaming, to purchase Sange and Yasha, Battlefury, and Black King Bar by the 30-minute mark.
The games winner was determined when Troll Warlock also bought Satanic at the 36-minute mark.
Although Forward Gaming made roster changes on March 24 by brining CCnC, SneyKing and Kitrak to replace Resolution, Universe and SVG, their synergy and drafting abilities improved throughout the three weeks of playing together.
In time, we expect Forward Gaming to match other tier one teams from their region.

]]>The post ESL One Birmingham 2019 betting predictions – Mineski vs TNC Predator appeared first on Esport Bet.
]]>TNC Predator will take on Mineski with a place in the main tournament of ESL One Birmingham on the line at the Southeast Asia Qualifier tonight.
In the previous head-to-head match between these sides, Kuku, the position three player from TNC Predator, picked Dark Seer in the series.
In game one, TNC Predator out-drafted Mineski with the last pick of Dark Seer to counter Nature Prophet threats in the laning phase.
SEE ALSO: LATEST ESPORTS BETTING TIPS
Nature Prophet is very strong in babysitting the carry with the help from his threat, but Dark Seers Ion Shell was able to withstand the pressure from threats and them clear them away.
As TNC Predator planned, Nature Prophet was unable to support his carry to farm and literally roamed the map without any objective throughout the whole game. Nature Prophet died 11 times and only killed one hero in the contest.
Dark Seer was able to farm his Soul Ring and Helm of Dominator by the 11-minute mark. TNC Predator expanded the advantage by taking all towers outside of Mineskis base by the 20-minute mark, thanks to Dark Seers Mekansm and Arcane Boots constantly providing health and mana regeneration to the team.

Mineski called GG when TNC Predator melted down their throne with the whole squad.
In game two, Mineski picked Nature Prophet first again without banning Dark Seer. Without any hesitation, TNC Predator went to grab Dark Seer in reply.
Despite Nature Prophet’s better peformance, TNC Predator still crushed them mercilessly.
If Mineski does not make changes to their draft tactics and keep on relying on Nature Prophet, the result should be the same today.
After running our eye through their last head-to-head match and the fact that TNC Predator has a one-point advantage in this match-up, we give TNC Predator a 80% chance to win this match.
Considering the payout odds, our recommendation is to go medium and bet on TNC Predator to win the series at -434.78 with BetOnline.

]]>J.Storm and Complexity Gaming (COL) will battle it out for the sole North American slot for the ESL ONE Birmingham 2019 in a best-of-three series match-up.
COL performed strongly at the MDL Paris Major after taking down Forward Gaming to qualify.
Meracle, the carry player from the COL, has recently favoured playing Spectre as position one in the group stage of the MDL Paris Major North American Qualifier, picking Spectre twice against TEAM TEAM for two wins.
SEE ALSO: LATEST ESPORTS BETTING TIPS
Meracle has his unique item build for this hero, which was prioritizing on getting Diffusal Blade and Manta Style first. Instead of getting radiance, he loves to play a tanky Spectre and getting Satanic and Black King Bar to pump his Health Point at least more than 4000 in late game.
J.Storms Moo, the carry player, was spamming Lifestealer in the same group stage against Xolotl.
Bet Now Read Review | |
Bet Now Read Review |
This hero is able to counter high health point units because Lifestealers second ability, Feast, allows him to regenerate 3.75% of attacked enemys maximum Health Points and deals the same portion of damage per attack.
Considering their recent draft in MDL, J.Storm is having a greater hand in drafting cores because COL have to waste a ban on Lifestealer or give up on picking Spectre.
After reviewing their drafting behaviour and gameplay of core players in both teams, we give J.Storm a 55% chance to win this match-up.
Considering the payout odds, our recommendation is to go low and bet on J.Storm to win the game at -114.94 with BetOnline.

]]>An in-form Keen Gaming will take on ROYAL in what should be a fierce Dota 2 battle at ESL One Birmingham.
Keen Gaming, a direct invite to the tournament, should go in as favourite, given ROYAL fought their way in via the Open Qualifier in first round of the China Qualifier.
Keen Gaming encountered ROYAL twice in the group stage of MDL Paris Major China Qualifier on March 30. Those best of three series were split one apiece, but it was Keen Gaming that advanced to the winner’s bracket after winning a deciding match.
SEE ALSO: LATEST ESPORTS BETTING TIPS
In the first series, Keen Gaming drafted Abaddon in all three games. Dark, the support player from Keen, dominated with the hero in each game.
Dark is a patient plaer and Abaddon is the type of hero that requires a lot of patience sitting in the fog to support his teammates.

In the second series, Keen Gaming couldn’t get their hands on Abaddon because ROYAL took him first. However, Keen Gaming won the game by picking Disruptor to counter Abaddon.
Based on their draft and game play in previous head-to-head matches, Keen Gaming has shown better drafting experience and strategy on the current meta of Dota 2.
After analysing their drafting abilities and the fact that ROYAL is not playing with their whole squad, we give Keen Gaming a 60% chance to win this match-up 2-0.
Considering the payout odds, our recommendation is to go low and bet on Keen Gaming to win the game 2-0 at -114.94 with BetOnline.

]]>The post Old but Gold vs Natus Vincere – GG.Bet Birmingham Invitational tips appeared first on Esport Bet.
]]>The GG.Bet Birmingham Invitational is an online event where eight teams from Europe and the CIS Region compete for a slot at ESL One Birmingham 2019.
Old But Gold takes on Natus Vincere (Navi) in a best-of-three series in Group A on Wednesday night. The loser will be eliminated from the tournament.
Navi is one of the top CIS franchises in Dota 2 and boast star players like Magical and Crystallize.
Sonneiko, the previous tier one support player from Navi, left the squad just two days ago in a big blow to the franchise. Misha is currently standing in position five.
Navi has only played one professional match with Misha. Despite losing that game, it was evident that Navi had an advantage in the drafting phase because both Magical and Crystallize were able to play Lone Druid and Terrorblade.
These heroes are very strong in the meta because they are able to control the lane and split push with their illusions or Spirit Bear summoned by Lone Druid.
SEE ALSO: LATEST ESPORTS BETTING TIPS
Magical has clearly gone to school on the new meta items on Spirit Bear. He purchased Mask of Madness as the first item instead of picking Radiance as the first choice.
Old But Gold underperformed at MDL Paris, but their performance in Pit MInor was formidable, where they were only one win away from qualifying into the main tournament.
Old But Gold lost to the Alliance just two days ago. Alliance out-smarted them in the drafting phase with their final pick, Lina, as their mid-laner.

Old But Gold definitely need to be aware of Magicals Lina if they want to have a good laning phase in this upcoming match-up. Magical is one of the greatest players using Lina on the professional circuit.

Considering the payout odds, our recommendation is to go medium and bet on Navi to win the game at +100 with BetOnline.
We also recommend live betting on Navi if they able to draft Lina to their side.
