LOOT.BET/CS Season 8

?Virtus.pro and forZe will lock horns on Thursday in the last quarter-final bout of LOOT.BET/CS Season 8. It will mark their second meeting since Intel Extreme Masters XV New York Online: CIS, where VP reverse-swept forZe with 16-10 on Dust II and 16-12 on Train.

Since that clash, forZe have lost six out of 11 games played, while VP have won all but one of seven outings. That run includes a 2-0 triumph against Natus Vincere and 3-0 against Nemiga.

Although VP are the most likely victors, we expect forZe to put up enough of a fight to make the series close. All of the last four meetings between these two sides ended in three maps, and we expect the same to happen here.

Svenska Elitserien 2020 Fall

?FALKN impressed with their 19-16 win over High Coast Esports last week, but they quickly returned to their old ways with an 8-16 loss to fightclub two days later.

Lilmix, meanwhile, had to skip their last two Svenska Elitserien matches against flowskola and GoBananas since they had to attend Nine to Five #5. There, they produced a mixed bag of results with 2-1 wins over PACT and x6tence and 0-2 losses against Virtus.pro, Copenhagen Flames and Galaxy Racer.

Despite their lack of success at Nine to Five #5, Lilmix deserve some slack since they had to face much tougher opponents than what they’re about to play against at the Svenska Elitserien. Still, they tend to drop points even against weaker sides, which is why we will trust FALKN to win at least nine rounds.

LPL Pro League 2020 Season 3

?Chiefs Esports Club enter the LPL Pro League 2020 Season 3 grand finals as heavy favourites over Avant Gaming, which we don’t quite agree with. Although Chiefs have a map advantage, that rarely guarantees success for the upper bracket team – especially in a regional derby.

Avant have met with Chiefs three times since August and won two series with a combined 6-1 map differential, which clearly shows they should not be priced as high as they are. A smaller bet on the underdogs to win 3-1 can also be considered.

DOTA Summit Online 13 Americas

?Quincy Crew ended their run through the group stage with a near-perfect 8-1-0 record and 17-1 map differential. Thunder Predator saw far less success, although they still ended in the top four with a 3-4-2 record and 10-8 map differential.

Quincy Crew have met with Thunder Predator nine times in 2020 and won all but one fixture, including all of the last four with a 9-1 map differential. Even though TP looked slightly better in the final rounds of the group stage with wins over 4 Zoomers and Infamous, QC seem to be on a whole other level than the rest of the field and should win this with ease.

Movistar Liga Pro Gaming Season 6

?Team Brasil (2-1-1) enter the penultimate round of the Movistar Liga Pro Gaming Season 6 group stage in dire need of wins to secure a spot in the playoffs. On the other hand, Omega Gaming (2-3-0) are in a very comfortable position and only need to win one more to lock in their ticket for the semi-finals.

Even though Team Brasil sit two spots behind Omega Gaming on the standings, it’s hard to separate the teams based on performance. Brasil are 0-5-5 in their last 10, compared to Omega’s 5-4-1 record (albeit against weaker opponents).

This match seems like it can go either way, so it makes more sense to side with Omega given they have actually won a few games across the last week.

DOTA Summit Online 13: SEA

Cignal Ultra (1-5-1) have not impressed this tournament, however, the same can be said for Team Adroit (2-3-1), who won only against TEAM STAR and Army Geniuses. On a more positive note, Adroit forced stalemates against Among Us, 496 Gaming and Neon Esports, which is comparable to Cignal Ultra’s draws with Among Us and BOOM Esports.

We don’t expect any outstanding performances from Cignal Ultra, but since they managed a stalemate against the BTS Pro Series Season 3: Southeast Asia and ESL One Thailand 2020: Asia runners-up (BOOM Esports), they clearly have the quality to make something happen.

In six games played Motivate.Trust Gaming (4-1-1) lost only to TNC Predator but claimed a big scalp on Saturday when they defeated Among Us. MG.Trust were at the time priced at $4.77, which helped us to earn +1.54 units of profit from our esports predictions for Saturday.

MG.Trust won all of their four meetings with Cignal with an 8-1 game differential, which includes a 2-0 sweep at the start of October. On top of the stronger head-to-head record, MG.Trust are also in much better form, but at $1.24 it’s better to explore the first blood market.

Across the lasts six games, MG.Trust achieved a 50% first blood rate (3-3) while Cignal put together a 66.67% FB rate (4-2), albeit against weaker teams. What’s more, Cignal gave up first blood in all of their series except in their last two and the first game against Neon Esports.

LPL Pro 2020 Season 3

Both teams have shown similar form this tournament and while Army Geniuses hold a slightly better record (4-2-0) than Spag and Sons (3-3-0), the Australian side only really underperformed in the opening stages of the tournament. They have since won two in a row (+ a forfeit win).

Army Geniuses should be slightly favoured largely because they forced TNC Predator to a stalemate last week, but at $1.55 they’re overrated. Spag and Sons have shown solid form as of late and at $2.25 they’re worth a shot.

After six weeks of play, Shadownet hold a 2-1-3 record, which is only slightly better than CamboPride’s 1-1-4, yet the esports bookmakers have Shadownet priced as $1.21 favourites over the Cambodian squad. That does not seem fair, considering Shadownet picked up a forfeit win against Mirana Battlefury, whereas Cambo Pride had to defeat the said squad during the first week of the competition.

Cambo Pride did not look too sharp and will likely be in for an uphill battle this Tuesday. Having said that, these low-tier Dota2 games are often a complete coin-toss, so putting a few bucks on the outsiders at $3.43 is not a terrible bet.

Svenska Elitserien 2020 Fall

Sons of Lennart are entering this match with a 5-13 record and -53 round differential (168-221), which does not inspire much confidence. To make matters even worse, two of SoL’s wins came after their opponents forfeited their match, meaning they have only defeated three teams in the span of 18 games (16.7% win rate).

Lilmix did not look as sharp as they perhaps should considering their quality, but they are still 11-3 with +79 (215-136) round differential. Lilmix also kept their opponents at eight or fewer rounds in four out of of their last six Svenska Elitserien bouts, and have last week defeated PACT and x6tence who are both significantly stronger than SoL.

2020 League of Legends World Championship Grand Finals

Suning’s chances to defeat DAMWON Gaming and hoist their first Summoner’s Cup seem very slim, largely due to their opponents’ individual quality and immaculate macro play. That is not to say Suning have played poorly, but DWG have looked much cleaner in their wins.

DWG look stronger than Suning in every lane, although jungler Lê “SofM” Quang Duy and ADC Tang “huanfeng” Huan-Feng can potentially hold their own against the Koreans. However, since Suning rely heavily on huanfeng to perform, it’s highly likely Kim “Canyon” Geon-bu will set up a tent in the bot side and funnel resources into Jang “Ghost” Yong-jun.

All of the last three LoL World Championship grand finals ended 3-0, and it seems we might be in for another sweep this weekend unless Suning cause a massive upset. DWG should cover the 1.5 line with ease.

DOTA Summit Online 13 SEA

Among Us have defeated Neon Esports, TEAM STAR and Army Geniuses, but they had to settle for stalemates against Adroit Esports, TNC Predator and BOOM Esports. Motivade.Trust Gaming, meanwhile, have gone 3-1-0 thus far, although they have yet to face any of the favourites.

Even though we can’t say for certain how MTG will do against stronger teams, it does not seem right to have the reigning BTS Pro Series champions priced at +377. At these odds, it would be rude not to throw a few dollars on the outsiders to win.

TNC Predator did not impress us with their most recent showings, but nor were they particularly bad. They picked up convincing wins over some weaker teams but managed only stalemates against Among Us, Neon Esports and Army Geniuses.

Motivade.Trust Gaming have shown similar form but have yet to face a tough opponent, so it’s uncertain how well they do against TNC on Saturday. The last time MTG met with TNC was during the BTS Pro Series in September, when they won 2-0 after a comeback win on the second map.

There is a chance Motivade can defeat TNC Predator again, but betting on the draw makes more sense to us.

Esports bookmakers predict this bout is likely to end in a draw, which seems fair considering both teams have their issues. Still, Neon Esports are unbeaten in their last six games. That run includes stalemates against BOOM Esports, TNC Predator and Motivade.Trust Gaming, which is fairly impressive for a team of their calibre.

We are far less convinced with Adroit’s performances, especially with their draw against 496 Gaming on Wednesday and their 0-2 loss to MTG a day prior. Therefore, it’s hard not to back the in-form Neon at good odds.

DOTA Summit Online 13 Americas

4 Zoomers have clashed with beastcoast four times in 2020. They swept the Peruvian squad in all of their first three meetings from June through August, but it was beastcoast who got their revenge last month with a 2-0 sweep during the group stage of BTS Pro Series Season 3 Americas.

These teams have shown similar form this tournament, but we have to value 4 Zoomers’ efforts slightly higher since beastcoast lost to Team Zero and Quincy Crew in their last two fixtures. 4Z also lost to Quincy Crew recently, but they won their clashes with Spirits Esports and Thunder Predator.

There are arguments to be made in favour of beastcoast to get up again, but it’s hard to bet against the favourites at the odds offered.

Perfect World Dota2 League – Division A

Team MagMa recently attended the CDA-FDC Professional Championship, where they lost their group stage matches against Royal Never Give Up (1-2), EHOME (0-2) and Elephant.4AM (0-2) to finish in last place. With those losses, MagMa have gone 4-2-4 across the last two weeks.

Galaxy Racer have put together a similar 4-3-3 record across the last 14 days. Their most notable results include a stalemate with BOOM Esports and a 2-0 sweep of Adroit this Wednesday.

MagMa last met with Galaxy Racer four days ago during the Moon Studio Mid-Autumn League, where they won 2-1. The match was very close for the most part and seemed like it could easily end in Galaxy Racer’s favour, so there is value in siding with the outsiders to avenge their loss on Friday.

DOTA Summit Online 13 Americas

Despite their relative success against Plasma1337x (2-0) and Thunder Predator (1-1), Team Brasil struggled to show up against catJAMMERS (0-2) and Infamous (0-2). Spirits Esports have looked even worse, dropping all but one of their games.

These teams have never met before, but we don’t need the head-to-head record to know which of the two is the most likely victor. Brasil might not be a top-tier team, but they have at least put together a few solid showings, whereas Spirits are without a win in their last seven games.

Team Zero and Infamous share the same 2-1-1 record in this tournament. Infamous looked decent in their win over the current frontrunners, catJAMMERS, but we should not underestimate Team Zero’s win over beastcoast or their stalemate against 4Zoomers.

What catches our attention here is the surprisingly long odds on Team Zero. While their results are far from perfect, they field a stacked roster with former Cloud9, business associates and Geek Fam players including Jacky “EternaLEnVy” Mao and Braxton “Brax” Paulson.

We might see a draw, but at $4.02, we will gladly take our chances with EternaLEnVy and his crew.

CDA-FDC Professional Championship

Out of 15 head-to-head bouts with Royal Never Give Up this year, PSG.LGD have won 10 series and 31 games (31-18). That record includes victories in each of the last four meetings, where they put together an impressive 8-2 map differential.

Although RNG and PSG.LGD usually produce close fixtures, we don’t believe that will be the case here. Not only have PSG.LGD been playing much better Dota 2 of late, but RNG also looked very shaky in the group stage with their loss to EHOME (0-2) and their narrow win over MagMa (2-1).

There is a world where RNG impress and steal one map off PSG.LGD, but they have not shown enough in this competition to suggest they can cover the map line in this one.

ESEA Season 35 Premier Division NA

Russian Canadians are 2-3 in their last five games. That record includes wins against ImPerium (22-20) and ex-Polar Ace (16-1), as well as three losses against Depth (13-16), Springroll (8-16) and Third Impact (21-25).

Rebirth Esports have shown similar form with losses to Rugratz (12-16), Mythic (14-16) and New England Whalers (7-16), and two wins against Morning Light (2-0) and ImPerium (16-11).

Picking a winner is difficult since these low-tier NA CS:GO teams usually make plenty of mistakes and drop rounds they should win. This, combined with the fact that both Russian Canadians and Rebirth played over 25 rounds in 60% out of their last five series, makes the overs on total rounds very appealing.

BLAST Premier Fall 2020

This bout will mark a rematch from three weeks ago when Team Vitality swept Complexity Gaming 2-0 in the semi-finals of IEM New York. The French squad have won five of seven games since then, including triumphs over BIG (2-0) and Astralis (2-1) en route to a runner-up finish at DreamHack Open Fall 2020.

This could turn out to be a very close fixture. However, before we see Complexity’s new signing (Justin “jks” Savage) in action, it makes more sense to trust Vitality’s great form and proven quality. Complexity might still win one map, so an outright bet on Vitality is the way to go.

FaZe Clan will enter this bout with Olof “?olofmeister?” Kajbjer as a replacement for Nikola “?NiKo?” Kova?, who is edging closer to a move to G2 Esports. While olofmeister? is by no means a bad player, he is not nearly as good as he once was and will struggle to fill the void left by NiKo’s departure.

That is not to say FaZe are a bad team now, but they are certainly weaker than before. Given FaZe lost 0-2 against BIG less than two weeks ago, the German squad should pick up another clean sweep here.

LPL Pro League 2020 Season 3

Rooster and AVANT Gaming met in the third round of the LPL Pro League’s upper-bracket playoffs just under two weeks ago, when Rooster humiliated AVANT with a 2-1 reverse sweep. Since that bout, both sides have played a handful of games and produced quite volatile results – which is nothing too shocking, as these online Australian CS:GO esports fixtures are often a complete coin-flip.

However, this also means that Rooster’s win over AVANT does not mean much, nor does AVANT’s revenge 16-4 win over Rooster on Monday. This match seems like it can end either way, so it’s best to trust our money with Rooster to cover the map line.

DOTA Summit Online 13 SEA

The reigning ESL One Thailand 2020 Asia champions hold a 4-3-3 record and are 3-3-1 across the last week, which is neither great nor terrible. Motivate.Trust Gaming have shown some potential as well, with seven wins in their last 10, but they can also be hit-or-miss at times.

These teams have shown similar form, so there is a high chance we could see a draw. However, it is worth considering an outright bet on Motivade.Trust Gaming at higher odds – especially since they swept TNC 2-0 during BTS Pro Series Season 3 Southeast Asia last month.

DreamHack SC2 Masters 2020 Winter Europe

MaxPax became known for his success in using unusual builds against some of the best StarCraft II esports players, but he has since improved his macro play to emerge as a proper top-tier competitor. Still, MaxPax has yet to find his footing this tournament, with three losses and a 2-6 map differential.

Similarly, Rubén “AqueroN” Villanueva has lost all of his three fixtures, but he has also failed to win a single map. What’s more, AqueroN has lost five out of eight meetings with MaxPax, including their most recent bout in September.

MaxPax might not be in great form, but this is a perfect opportunity for him to break his losing streak. A 2-0 win should be achievable for the Danish StarCraft II pro.

Illinois State University will take on TBA for the League of Legends UPL 2020 Fall competition on October 28. The two teams will meet on the battlefield in an epic best-of-three matchup.

TBA seem to have the upper hand in the head-to-head stakes, as they won the last meeting 2-0. ISU lead the Cloud Group standings with nine points, winning three of their five games.
