ATK have made some changes to their roster in preparation for ESL Pro League Season 17, bringing in rifler Aleksandar “CacaNito” Kjulukoski from BLUEJAYS to replace Saad “?Pluto?” Siraj.

While ATK have not officially revealed the change, the information was corroborated by Dust2.us’s sources. Pluto also indirectly confirmed the news via his Twitter account.

This means that the Pakistani rifler spent less than a month on ATK’s lineup. Pluto was signed at the start of February to replace Rhys “Fadey” Armstrong; however, he failed to have any significant impact on the team and posted a 0.97 rating during his stint.

CacaNito joined BLUEJAYS in September 2021 and held the position of squad leader on the lineup. He mostly participated in tier-two and tier-three CS:GO competitions, where he achieved impressive numbers.

These competitions include the IESF World Championship 2021 (where CacaNito emerged as the winner), XP Game Fest 2022, ESEA Season 41 Advanced Division: Europe, IESF World Esports Championship 2022, and European Championship 2022. The 22-year-old also reached the finals of the ESL Challenger League Season 42: Europe and the Funspark ULTI 2021 European Playoffs #2.

CacaNito has averaged a 1.15 rating across several CCT events in the past three months. The Macedonian rifler had even more impressive numbers across his 2022 games and produced a 1.30 impact and 1.19 rating.

Despite his past achievements, CacaNito remains mainly untested in playing against teams in top-tier tournaments. In 2022, he played 20 maps against 20 top squads.

CacaNito’a addition to the ATK lineup comes barely a day after the South African team failed to qualify for the BLAST.tv Paris Major Americas RMR. They were dealt double losses at the hands of Strife and Detonate in the event’s closed qualifiers, then lost 2-1 to Nouns in the following round to exit the tournament.

It is still being determined if CacaNito’s move to ATK will be permanent, or if the team will find another long-term addition. The current lineup for ESL Pro League Season 17 includes Michael “?Swisher?” Schmid, Gareth “?MisteM?” Ries, Jonathan “?b0denmaster?” Bodenmalm, Jonathan “?djay?” Dallal, and CacaNito. Daniel “?sprayxd?” Kogan remains the head coach.

ATK are slated to play against oNe in their next ECL clash; however, CacaNito is currently in a different continent, so it is unknown whose services will be employed during the game. Ian “motm” Hardy previously stood in the team, so it would not be surprising if he temporarily reprises his role.

ATK have been placed in Group D of the ESL Pro League alongside Team Liquid, ForZe, ENCE, Rare Atom, Astralis, Team Spirit, and Natus Vincere. Their first match will be against ENCE on March 15.

The 43rd season of the North American ESL Challenger League will enter matchday four on Wednesday, with three more matches taking place. Below you will find our best bets for the EG Black vs TeamOne and Red Wolves vs ATK series, with the best odds courtesy of BetOnline.

EG BLACK vs TEAMONE CS:GO BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

Best Odds: EG Black +165 at BetOnline | TeamOne -232.56 at BetOnline
When: November 9, 2022 | 20:00 ET
Watch Live: Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/esl_csgo)

The first series of matchday four will be between EG Black and TeamOne, as both teams will be looking to get their season off on a positive note. These two teams played each other recently on October 21, with TeamOne taking the best-of-three series 2-0.

EG Black are currently ranked as the 85th best team in the world and they will come into this season of the ESL Challenger League on a two-game losing streak, after they finished 5th-6th in season 42 of the ESL Challenger League at the end of October. In the last week this team has dropped from 64th in the world to their current rank of 85th in the world, after their disappointing finish last season. This EG Black team has a lot of talent and CS:GO experience on its roster, so they shouldnt be counted out of any series; however, they need to show something in these early games to garner some support.

TeamOne are ranked 41st in the world currently, after finishing fourth in season 42 of the ESL Challenger League, where they lost to ATK in the lower final 0-2. This TeamOne roster has made some changes in recent months and it is starting to pay dividends for the organisation, as they have put in some good showings at a whole range of events over the last two months. TeamOne added Mario malbsMd Samayoa back in August and since he has been in the team, he has been outstanding, averaging the best rating at 1.15 out of 2.

TeamOne have the wood over EG Black and they have the higher ranking. There is no reason to suggest that the 2-0 result could be overturned in a short amount of time, so we will be siding with TeamOne to repeat the dose here.

RED WOLVES vs ATK CS:GO BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

Best Odds: Red Wolves +700 at BetOnline | ATK -2000 at BetOnline
When: November 9, 2022 | 20:00 ET
Watch Live: Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/esl_csgo)

The second match of the day will feature Red Wolves and ATK, who will face each other in the for the first time in an official competitive series.

Red Wolves are officially ranked 154th in the world and they will take their place in season 43 of the ESL Challenger League after finishing 3rd-4th in last seasons Challenger League Relegation, which in turn, promoted them into the Challenger League from ESEA Advanced. The Red Wolves come into their first series against ATK as massive outsiders, and given their ranking compared to their opponents, the odds are quite fair.

ATK are now ranked the 35th team in the world after winning season 42 of the ESL Challenger League, defeating Nouns 3-1 in the grand final. ATK is the obvious favourite for this season as they comfortably defeated every team they played in the playoffs last season, including 2-0 wins over MIBR, TeamOne and Iron Blood. ATK deserve to be heavy favourites in this series against a newly promoted team, and we expect to see ATK win this series quite comfortably.

ATK are too short to suggest a bet on the heavy favourites at the moneyline; however, we do suggest taking ATK at the rounds line in the first map, which will be their pick.

ATK -7.5 rounds (Map 1)

Luminosity returning to Rainbow Six after a two-year hiatus https://www.improbablebook.com/luminosity-returning-to-rainbow-six-after-a-two-year-hiatus/ https://www.improbablebook.com/luminosity-returning-to-rainbow-six-after-a-two-year-hiatus/#respond Tue, 14 Jun 2022 07:17:25 +0000 https://www.improbablebook.com/?p=20839 After a two-year absence from the Rainbow Six esports scene, Luminosity Gaming have announced their return.

The post Luminosity returning to Rainbow Six after a two-year hiatus appeared first on Esport Bet.

After a two-year absence from the Rainbow Six esports scene, Luminosity Gaming have announced their return. LG signed the ATK roster shortly after they took over the Wichita Wolves.

The organization made the announcement via Twitter, also listing the members of the roster.

LG left the competitive scene in April 2020 in a rather controversial way. While the change in competition format was a reason for their departure, the players were not happy with how things played out, especially Kian Hyena Mozayani.

The 23-year-old went on a rant, calling out Ubisoft for handling the situation poorly. Via Twitlonger, he claimed that communication between Ubisoft and the players was poor, leaving them in limbo for about three weeks.

“Roughly 3 weeks ago, we were told that LG would be releasing us since they could not come to an agreement with Ubisoft regarding the upcoming LAN league,” he said.

“Over the course of these 3 weeks (during the season) we practiced and played our matches not knowing if we would have a spot in pro league next season. Throughout this whole period, LG and Ubisoft re-entered negotiations without our knowledge (up until recently) and they fell through again.

“Ubisoft delayed our meeting multiple times leaving us in the dark not knowing if we should pack up and leave our team house.”

In his outburst, he also called considerations, stating that he is willing to accept a player or coaching role.

However, his course of action was frowned upon by Ubisoft, resulting in a one-year ban. Hyena shared the email received from Ubisoft regarding his ban via his Twitter page with a sarcastic caption.

“Best communication I have received from Ubisoft in months.”

Regardless of all the ugliness that transpired in the past, Hyena returned to competitive gaming in 2021. For Luminosity, it took an extra year before they made their re-entry.

Before they were taken over on April 10, Wichita Wolves won the North American Challenger League Stage 1. They had the best record in the league and finished with 24 points, one above Arial Arise and 1shotLFO.

For their effort, they will be participating in the NACL Stage 2. Details on the start of the event are yet to be released. However, a top-nine finish will guarantee them a place in Stage 3.

Luminosity, which was founded in 2015, now boast active rosters in some of the most popular esports titles, including Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, League of Legends, Overwatch, etc. Unfortunately, the announcement of getting back into the Rainbow Six scene came weeks after LG announced their departure from Valorant.

LG’s decision to leave came days after a reported meeting with Riot Games. In their statement, they hinted that the structure might be the reason for their exit but made no definite claim.

The Canadian organization will be looking to make their way to the NAL league. To achieve that, they will have to finish all three stages in the NACL with the best record. LG finished sixth the last time they were in the league, walking away with $14,000 from the US$157,000 prize pool.

Are You Ready for IEM New York: North America?

IEM New York: North America has just kicked off with a wealth of diversity between the favorites in the title betting. FURIA of Brazil are in the top four to win, but they face fierce competition in Group A from Evil Geniuses.

In Group B, Team Liquid are well backed at US betting sites, but they need to get through 100 Thieves and their mostly Australian squad. We love the diversity in the competition this campaign, as itll be exciting to see the various strategy dynamics come into play.

Dota PIT Season 3: China Eliminations

Time flies when youre having fun, and we cant believe were already at the elimination stages of China Dota PIT Season 3. It feels as though the campaign started a few days ago, but here we are.

The first two teams eliminated from the tournament were Sparking Arrow Gaming and Invictus Gaming. Both sides had poor performances throughout and lost each game in the group stage.

With those two knocked out, were ready for the next round of eliminations. We see Vici Gaming are favourites with Dota 2 betting sites in the first upper-bracket round as they take on Team MagMa. Vici are a powerhouse in the region, and its tough for most competitors to take them down.

The battle between EHOME and Royal Never Give Up has the betting odds slightly skewed in favor of the former. This one will be a tight game and will come down to who can assert their dominance from the beginning.

Astralis Bring Back Xyp9x?

Not too long ago, Astralis took the title at the ESL Pro League. They are set to use the same active roster for the upcoming DreamHack Open Fall Regional Major Ranking tournament. It was a winning recipe for ESL, and theres no reason to fix what isnt broken.

However, the coach, Danny “?zonic?” S?rensen, recently announced that Andreas “?Xyp9x?” H?jsleth is back training and practicing with the team and will feature in the BLAST Premier Fall Series. His return after a four-month hiatus has some fans unimpressed due to the teams recent success.

?Xyp9x took a break because he displayed burnout symptoms, which is becoming a serious health issue within the professional esports community. That is one of the reasons Astralis have opted for a seven-man roster, as it allows players to take regular breaks and avoid exhaustion.

Oceanic Esports League Week 10

Adio Chula will take on Sincerely Fury in the second battle of the Oceanic Esports Leagues 10th week. Its been little over a month since they last faced each other, and Sincerely Fury won that encounter 2-0.

Since then, Sincerely Fury have seriously dropped the ball. Adio Chula have done the opposite and improved their Dota 2 form significantly. They even made it through to a draw against cuteanimegirls, who are dominating the series.

As such, it is no surprise that Adio Chula are firm favorites for this clash at Australian esports betting sites.

The South African CS:GO esports team ATK announced on Thursday, September 12 that Aran “Sonic” Groesbeek has returned to the organization after spending three months abroad.

Earlier this month, Rush B Media revealed ATK had decided to overhaul their roster, which would result in the team no longer having a majority South African players.

The report stated Rhys “Fadey” Armstrong, Robby “blackpoisoN” Da Loca, and Dominic “Domsterr” Sampaio will be replaced by Josh “oSee” Ohm, Ricky “floppy” Kemery and former ATK member, Sonic.

Despite strong speculation, the arrival of Sonic was not made official until this week, when the move was confirmed on the teams official Twitter account.

Sonic started off his professional CS:GO career in 2014, when he played for eNergy eSports. From there he moved to Bravado Gaming, Denial eSports, and finally ATK in April 2019.

Sonic stayed at ATK for less than two months before he joined Team Envy, where he remained for three months up until September 12.

During those three months, Sonic helped the North American side qualify for IEM Chicago and retain a ESL Pro League spot.

Other than those two achievements, however, the team failed to impress, with poor runs at ESL One New York and MSI Gaming Arena.

Reaching limited success with Team Envy, Sonic decided to re-join his old team for the latter stages of the DreamHack Masters Malmo 2019 NA closed qualifiers.

The 20-year-old South African’s first fixture back at ATK was against Swole Patrol in the round two of the lower bracket, where he registered a solid 1.04 HLTV rating and 60-61 KD to help his team reach the final four.
